Over the years we have been lucky enough to meet some amazing people involved in hunting and conservation, as well as all the amazing young adventurers who have been part of our UOE programmes all around the world.

The Educated Hunter is about telling positive educational stories about conservation and hunting from New Zealand and around the world to improve our collective knowledge as hunters and help those who don’t to better understand why we hunt. 

We’re passionate about improving how hunters are seen by the general public and we’re committed to using the collective energy, passion, experience, and practical skills of our community to benefit conservation, the environment and hunting in New Zealand.

• The Educated Hunter Podcast  – our goal is to have entertaining and educational conversations with people that have unique experiences in hunting, conservation and wildlife management. Guests will not only be from New Zealand but from around the world. We want to give all of our listeners the gift of perspective, alternate points of view, experience and knowledge. • The Educated Hunter Facebook Community – is a place where our audience can bring their own knowledge, passion and practical skills to discuss real-world issues that hunters are facing today. We hope it will provide a platform where like-minded individuals can come together and solve real issues in a constructive manner by working together and focusing their collective passion on fixing something rather than just talking about it. 
• The Educated Hunter Instagram – Follow the educated hunter @theeducatedhunter Instagram account, tag us in photos that show “why you hunt” and use the hashtags #whywehunt and #theeducatedhunter
